Sr Architect site Engineer

About the role

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Supervise day-to-day site execution of architectural design and site execution works, verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

•     Review and inspect works at key stages (hold points) before sign-off, ensuring workmanship meets contract and quality standards.

• KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

•     Adherence of executed works to approved drawings and specifications (defect/rework rate).

•     Timeliness and accuracy of site inspection reports and documentation.

•     Number and resolution time of non-conformances identified on site.

•     Contribution to on-time completion of assigned work packages.

•     Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues and maintain construction progress.

•     Record daily site activities, progress, and any deviations, and report to the Resident Engineer.

•     Review contractor submittals, material samples, and shop drawings relevant to the discipline, escalating discrepancies.

•     Support quality control checks and ensure non-conformances are logged, tracked, and closed out.

•     Monitor adherence to HSE requirements on site in coordination with the Safety Officer.

•     Participate in site meetings and coordination meetings with the client, contractor, and design team as required.

•     Maintain accurate site records, inspection checklists, and photographic documentation of works.
